Last week we showed you guys and gals Scoopt. It’s a fashion app that has launched on Windows Phone first with Android and iOS apps on the way. It allows users to browse some of the latest in fashion (clothes, accessories, etc) and buy purchase items through the apps. Scoopt has also picked up a pretty fast update based on feedback from all of you. Let’s see what’s new and improved.

Scoopt is finally here. But what exactly am I talking about?

If you're a massive fan of fashion and enjoy keeping up-to-date with the latest and greatest pieces of kit, you'll definitely want to check out this new app. Scoopt targets UK consumers and is essentially a fashion magazine for Windows Phone, but with an added twist that you can actually purchase products. What's more is that the team behind the app has exclusively launched on Windows Phone, with iOS and Android apps on the way.

StyleSaint - exclusively for Nokia Lumia Windows Phones

While we’re still waiting on Viber HD from Nokia to go live today (more on that later, when it’s available), another app has come forth for those with fashion on their minds.

StyleSaint (www.stylesaint.com) can now be downloaded for Nokia Lumia phones, allowing you to browse the latest fashions, clip them, make your own ‘stylebook’ and then share it with the world.

Design and innovation is hard. And a lot of times, those in the industry tend to arrive at the same conclusion, even if designers took different paths and they weren’t watching the competition. Such is the case when two things look 'inspired' by each other. But all too often accusations of "copying" abound when in fact, it was more a meeting of general design trends.

The Zeitgeist of Style, if you will.

In other words, we’re not accusing Apple of anything here except maybe of not being too different than current fashions. (It's cool, Apple. You don't always need to lead.) What we are saying is that these two “technology things" look very familiar. Kind of.
