Sony released three new laptops at their IFA press appearance; two of which are hybrid style device that can switch from notebook to tablet mode and one that can switch from all-in-one desktop to... super "portable" all-in-one desktop.

Toshiba has become "re-energized" by Windows 8.1 and has two new touchscreen devices at IFA 2013 to show their commitment. The company has just announced an 8-inch tablet entitled the "Encore" and a 13-inch hybrid tablet notebook entitled the "Satellite Click".
Sometimes size does matter, at least for Panasonic; the company has just introduced a brand new 20 inch 4K tablet running Windows 8.1. The new tablet is under the company’s Toughpad branding and is aimed at bringing a high resolution experience to professional creative types.
