One of the neat features on Windows Phone 8 is the flexibility with lockscreens. We've seen several apps take advantage of adding widgets to the lockscreen and rotate the wallpaper images.

This week's roundup focuses in on a selection of Windows Phone 8 apps that helps keep your lockscreen wallpaper fresh. All are either free or have a trial version to let you try things out first. Lock Themes is a Windows Phone 8 app that rotates your lockscreen wallpaper with a passle of themes to choose your wallpapers from or rotate images from your Pictures Hub.

Themes range from Astronomy to Video games to Angelina Jolie. The developer updates the themes periodically and the most notable themes joining the mix in the first update include NFL.com and ESPN.com.

Lock Themes is a Windows Phone 8 app that keeps your lock screen wallpapers fresh by rotating images from select themes. Lock Themes provides you with over forty themes that include astronomy, nature, horoscopes, daily inspirational quotes, and travel. Lock Themes has a healthy selection of themes with new themes added weekly.

Lock Themes is laid out in simple and straight forward fashion. You have a page to turn enable/disable Lock Themes and a page listing all the themes. At the bottom of the screen you will find four command buttons; save the current lock screen to your Pictures Hub, request a theme from the developer, search the themes and clear your search results.
