Rocking a Nokia Lumia 2520? It’s a killer tablet with an amazing display. And unlike the Surface 2, it’s truly mobile by incorporating LTE in the device. Add the Nokia Power Keyboard and you’ve got yourself a nice little mobile station for being productive. You might want to check out the Watson Wallet Folio from Incipio if you don’t plan on typing much on the Lumia 2520 and are still looking for a good case.

Many Nokia Lumia 2520 owners have been waiting for the Nokia Power Keyboard to arrive and now the wait is over. Nokia have told us they started shipping to retailers last week and it appears John Lewis in the UK have them now at their online store. Currently, we only see the black keyboard in stock. We’ll keep checking if the red one shows up, too.

The Lumia 2520 is Nokia's first Windows 8 tablet, powering Microsoft's RT operating system. The product itself was unveiled back at Nokia World last year in Abu Dhabi, and while it has already launched in multiple markets, we've got some bad news for those who reside in the Philippines. According to NokiaRevolution, the company will not be releasing the Lumia 2520 in the region.

If you didn’t like the dramatic Nokia Lumia 2520 video, maybe this one is better. It shows off the excellent outdoor readability of the Lumia 2520 with a nice animated story that almost makes us cry. Nokia tells us they worked with Blue Zoo, a BAFTA award winning animation studio based in central London. Watch the video after the break.

If you have been waiting for Amazon to sell the Nokia Lumia 2520, the wait stops now. You can now pick it up from the online retailer. They have it in black or red for Verizon and the black one for AT&T. There are no discounts available, so the price is $399 with a new contract or $499 outright. Stock appears to be limited for the Verizon variants, but Amazon states more are on the way.

The exclusive Dragons Adventure game from DreamWorks and Nokia for the Lumia 2520 (see review) is surely an exciting and interesting title, even if you’re not a kid. Based off of the hit movie ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (which is getting a sequel soon) the Adventure game lets you go on quests, train various dragons and even fly a few around.

Now, the companion Windows Phone app is available for Lumia phones, and it’s quite exciting. The app works by pairing up to the Lumia 2520 using NFC and Bluetooth (Tap + Send) and you’ll need to create a free account with DreamWorks. From there, you’ll also need to enable location services on both devices as GPS is a prime feature.

Today, the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet, running Windows RT 8.1 is available in the US on AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Fetching for $399 on contract ($499 without), the tablet won some high praise from us (with only a few criticisms) in our review.

The Nokia Power Keyboard is an optional accessory for the tablet that packs quite a punch. It has a built-in battery to offer a claimed 50% more power (5 hours), two-full USB ports, the keyboard, and it acts like a cover for the device as well. In other words, it turns a high performing tablet into a reasonable work station, with nearly 15 hours of total power.

Nokia Lumia 2520 Review

Nokia is bringing their first Windows RT 8.1 tablet to market, but is it the right choice?

In a few hours, Nokia’s first Windows RT 8.1 tablet goes on sale in the US on Verizon (AT&T gets it just 24 hours later). It’s a momentous step both for Nokia and Microsoft, who so far have had a tough sell with the RT. In fact, Microsoft and Nokia are the last two manufactures to offer the stripped down version of Windows, with other OEMs opting for the more powerful 32-bit version on an Intel Atom or i5 processor.

So does Nokia have what it takes to spark some life back into the Windows tablet market? And what about Microsoft’s own Surface 2? Read on for our full review of the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet.
