Just as the Lumia 521 is selling away in the US, the Lumia 520 is now available in Ireland for a low price of just €129. O2 Ireland even has a deal open for just €109, but has since sold out. Either Nokia is once again having issues with producing enough units or we're seeing signs that the Lumia 520 is going to perform rather well.

Are you in Australia and watching out for the Lumia 520? The Nokia Windows Phone has finally had its price and release date confirmed by the manufacturer. When will consumers be able to purchase one? April 30th, but how much are we looking at here? $179 locked to Telstra, or $225 from Allphones and other retailers.

Nokia is pushing out the new Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 Windows Phones, but what's interesting to note (if you're looking to utilise such functionality) is how the two new Nokia smartphones do not come packing HERE Drive+, but the Lumia 620 does. Our Nokia Lumia 520 just showed up on our door steps today, so we figured we’d share the news with the largest Windows Phone audience in the world. 

For those who don’t remember, the Lumia 520 was announced by Nokia a few weeks back in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress. It, along with the Lumia 720, represents the completion of Nokia’s “range” of Lumias.

Nokia's newest economically-friendly offering, the Lumia 520 has showed up for sale on eBay. This black or red, factory unlocked version looks to be the first 520 to be offered in the US and can be purchased outright for $239.99 using the Buy It Now option. Shipping is free.

As one of the emerging markets, and a terribly big one for that matter, China just can't be overlooked on Nokia's strategic roadmap, especially the entry and middle segments of the market. Now the company is busy preparing for the release of both Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 in China.

The entry-level Lumia 520 will be available "by the end of March", which translates into some time close to NOW. The retail price is about CNY 1,299 (US$ 210), which would be cheaper than the HKD 1,788 (US$ 231) standard in Hong Kong.

Nokia has managed to get the Lumia 520 Windows Phone through certification in Brazil. The smartphone was unveiled at Mobile World Congress and has impressed many with its unique design and incredible price tag. We're looking at 139 euros for the Windows Phone, but vNext expects the local price in Brazil to be more like R$ 599 ($300).

For those who are interested in the Nokia Lumia 520 or the more mid-range Lumia 720, there’s some good news around the corner. Both phones are now available for pre-order at Unlocked Mobiles (UK) for an April 1st release date with the 520 fetching for £159.98 (inc VAT) and £294.98 (inc VAT) for the Lumia 720. Multiple colors will be in stock, including Black, White, Red, Magenta, and Yellow for the 520 and Black, Red, Yellow for the svelte 720.

Likewise, according to Nokia Power User, both devices have just passed thru Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification and hare headed for China Mobile. Much like the Lumia 920T, the 520 and 720 will be modified to run on China Mobile’s unique network setup. Both devices should sell well in China due to their lower price point and easy accessibility.
