The Nokia Lumia 930 with Windows Phone 8.1 is just starting to roll out globally, and Norway is slated for July 10th. Preorders started just about a week ago at various retailers, including Elkjøp with the device costing 4495 in Norwegian Krone, or about US $735.

We are getting reports from at least two customers that Elkjøp has already shipped preorders, with reader Sindre H. already receiving his today in the mail and sending us the above photo. Forum member 'thorkenneth' also confirms that preorders have begun shipping, beating out almost all other locations.

Snapchat is one of those photo messaging services that, much like Instagram in the past, fails to have an official app for Windows Phone. Rudy Huyn answered the call by publishing 6snap to the store, an unofficial client enabling you to connect and enjoy the experience wrapped up in a Modern UI.

Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that a fair number of users have begun to experience issues with the app itself after a recent 1.3 update. Should you reside in Brazil or Norway, you may encounter trouble attempting to use 6snap. The good news is Huyn is aware of the problems and has worked to include a patch for version 1.3.1.

The health care department in Oslo, Norway has placed an order for a further 3,000 Windows Phones to be shipped to employees. It's reported that almost every health care institution in the region files reports using an app that's only available on Windows Phone 8. Unfortunately, the exact model name has not been revealed, but some requirements were shared that narrows down the shortlist.

The Lumia 900 is on its way to Norwegian retailer Elkjøp and is set for a June 1st launch. Priced at 4,290 kr, the flagship Nokia Windows Phone was previously seen on a terminal at the retailer where orders of each colour where spotted. This availability date is some time behind the expected shipping dates for UK retailers, which is probably a knock-on effect of the "overwhelming demand" of the Lumia 900 in the states.

The Lumia 900 is available to pre-order in black, blue and white, with financing options should they be required. Will you be picking yours up?

The Lumia 900 is yet to be officially announced in Norway and nothing's detailed on the Lumia Momentum Map, but we've just been sent in a photo of a retailer terminal displaying an order for Lumia Windows Phones. As one can see in the photo, the Norwegian retailer Elkjøp is set to stock a handful of all three variants of the Lumia 900, including the glossy white version.

The expected delivery date of the ordered handsets, which we presume are simply demo units, is May 2nd, according to the employee. We could well be on the edge of an upcoming Nokia push in Norway with the flagship Lumia Windows Phone. We'll keep you all updated as this story develops and more information is officially released.

The Lumia 900 launch in the U.S. on AT&T is suffering from major sellouts due to simply not enough handsets being available on shelves. This could be due to not many being in stock to begin with, but with the device being featured as a "hero smartphone", we still like to believe that the sales have been strong.

Thanks tipster for sending in the photo!

Norway has the LG Optimus 7 available on NetCom, but the carrier is throwing a free Xbox 360 into the mix. Perfect timing for kids who are writing their Santa lists for Christmas just around the corner. Windows Phone and a free Xbox? Can't say no to that. We're already aware of Telenor advertising the HTC Radar, but it's good to see another carrier picking up the baton. As a bonus, check out the advert below.

HTC advertising in Norway

While HTC and Phones4U make a difference in the UK, we have Telenor, Norway's largest carrier, advertising the HTC Radar in a Norwegian newspaper. The photo above, sent in by a reader, shows the HTC Radar available on contract. Looking at the Telenor website, we can see the Radar is also available unlocked for 3,099kr (£349).
