Personal assistant Indigo is finally available on the Windows Phone Store

Remember Indigo, the personal assistant for Windows Phone we've looked at a handful of times? Well, we're rather excited to announce that the app has finally been certified and is available on the Windows Phone Store. Consumers are able to create an account over on the Indigo website (where the web client is housed) for a more personal experience.

If you're not familiar with Indigo, you should be as we've covered it numerous times already. It's a cross-platform personal assistant for both Windows Phone and Android. We first looked at the upcoming app back at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. We then covered news that the company behind Indigo, Artificial Solutions announced that April 23rd is the date when the app will be released for Windows Phone and Android.

Hello Indigo, if you're not already familiar with the name, is a personal assistant that's set to be released later this month. Coming to Windows Phone 8 and Android on April 23rd, Indigo will enable consumers to have an intelligent conversation with the system that's said to be able to understand everyday phrases. Think Siri, but more functional and offering numerous new features. We took a look at Indigo back at MWC.

We mentioned the release of Maluuba for Windows Phone 8 the other day and had the opportunity to tinker with the voice controlled personal assistant over the past few days. Maluuba is a "Siri"-like app that lets you initiate searches, set alarms, check your schedules, and other core functions with your voice.

While Maluuba is a nice first step there is still room for improvement. If you're looking for a voice command app for your Windows Phone, Maluuba is worth trying.

Maluuba is a personal assistant app that takes advantage of voice commands to help you make it through the day. It's a popular app over on the Android format and today, the company has announced the app is headed to Windows Phone 8 devices.

Maluuba uses your Windows Phone's speech recognition for input and then uses it's proprietary, patent-pending language engine that ensures great accuracy in interpreting your requests. Maluuba uses a statistical approach to achieve a higher accuracy than many other assistant apps that may use rules or other methods for understanding that don't always handle natural sentences.

Artificial Solutions has announced Indigo, a cloud based, cross platform personal assistant app, for Android and Windows Phone 8 devices.

Indigo specializes in voice commands, much like iOS's Siri, to help you with day to day issues such as finding out what the weather is, finding addresses, check email and appointments, update Facebook and send Tweets.
