Update Polygon is reporting that Microsoft has confirmed a white Xbox One console with Sunset Overdrive will indeed be sold, but there's no word on pricing or availability yet.

Original story A white version of Microsoft's Xbox One console, which was previous available just for members of the company's Xbox development team, may be heading to retail stores, according to a pre-order listing on a French site that was quickly pulled.

Previously we reported that Microsoft will be giving a special white edition of the Xbox One console to team members of the Xbox division. If you are consumed by the fire of jealousy, consider this to be some good news: supposedly an insider source in China revealed that the white next-gen Xbox One will be available to the consumer market some time after the console's initial launch in late November.

Team members of the Xbox One division might just find a special gift under their trees this holiday season – a special white edition of Microsoft’s latest gaming console.

An image was leaked on Reddit by user Kinect10DLL and showcases a white Xbox One unit with the inscription “I MADE THIS” engraved on the front. Xbox team members will also receive all one player launch titles, a year of Xbox live (something you imagine wouldn't be hard to obtain for someone working on the Xbox team), and a special Live achievement.

News flash. Nokia is making a Windows Phone that is going to be packing a camera with something like 41MP. That’s bonkers and we’re getting more and more proof of the existence of this upcoming, groundbreaking phone. We were recently invited to a press event in NYC on July 11th where we suspect and expect to officially learn all about the Lumia “EOS”. But until then we keep getting leaks here and there about the phone.

Today is no different.

With sales of the HTC 8X evidently doing fairly well, it would seem obvious that the company would experiment with other colors—after all, California Blue, that fire engine red, Limelight yellow and black are all quite popping. Heck, we’ve even seen a grey/yellow “employee edition” of the 8X previously.

HTC have posted on their official Twitter account a simple photo with the headline “Sometimes you just need to tune it all out. Let us help.” With an accompanying image of a boy “tuning out” the people around him while he listens to what appears to be a red HTC 8X. The two females meanwhile are passing what appears to be a white HTC 8X—a colors scheme heretofore unseen to the public.

Nokia have firmly established themselves as a major player in the Windows Phone market. Their devices have been consistently regarded well and their marketing efforts have seen them establish ‘Lumia’ as a powerful and recognisable brand in its own right.

With the advent of Windows Phone 8 we saw Nokia strive to produce the definitive ‘hero’ device of this generation. The Lumia 920 packs some serious specs and for some it’s seen to be the best device of this current crop of phones. It isn’t all about the speeds and feeds, it’s about a cohesive package consisting of exclusive apps, hardware and of course Windows Phone 8.

We've previously reviewed the Lumia 920, which is well worth checking out for the in-depth analysis, but it is from this perspective I’m going to look at how successful it really is.

There has been much speculation and angst about the availability of the Lumia 920 here in the UK due to EE having an exclusivity deal on the hero Windows Phone 8 device.

Looks like the folks over at Clove are about to step in and provide the Lumia 920 in glossy white for your SIM-free and unlocked buying pleasure. That is, if you have £520.00 laying around to invest in one..

Leave it to perpetual leaker @Evleaks on Twitter to post an image of the upcoming Verizon Nokia Lumia 822.

We’ve seen the device before and have heard some negative feedback from those who are disappointed that it’s not the 920, but you have to admit the device looks nice in white—albeit in this tiny render.

The device features a 4.3” screen with wireless charging built in and is rumored to fetch for just $50 on contract. That’s not a bad deal though we’re hoping Verizon goes “big” with a flagship Nokia phone in the near future.

The latest rumor pins Verizon’s WP8 release schedule sometime in November, possible between the 6th and the 12th.

Nights in white Titan

If there was one really cool thing about the HTC Titan (review), it was the combo back cover-case for the device which wrapped around to the front. (We’ve always thought it to be like Darth Vader’s helmet).

But if there was a bad thing about the HTC Titan (and its sequel, the Titan II) it was the fact it was a bit bland looking. Specifically that whole gun-metal grey color scheme is very 2009 which is why you’re seeing such a push for white phones these days.

What you see above and below is a Titan whose back cover has presumably been spray painted white (we're not sure on the exact process). The photos come via some of the members from Winphoneviet.com and we have to say, it looks pretty good.

Of course looking good in photos and not feeling like a garage-lab project is another, so we’re not too sure if we’d recommend doing this. Then again, we’re positive some of you must have some good shop skills for this kind of thing, so consider this inspiration.

And HTC, can we try some different colors next time?

Well colour us all surprised. O2 Germany has confirmed, via Twitter, that the 32GB Lumia 900 is actually what's on offer and is not a typo on the website as we first presumed. The Windows Phone in question isn't just any old Lumia 900 either, it's the glossy white version, which has been listed on the carriers website as "coming soon"

There's still no word on pricing or availability just yet, and it'll be interesting to see if this 32GB variant makes its way elsewhere, especially with some owners demanding more storage.

Check out O2's tweet below (ignore the rough translation):

As well as the above official confirmation, Twitter user XB-Mod tweeted a photo of an O2 product listing documentation detailing the same specification. Looks as though Germany will either get to play around with a Lumia 900 with larger storage capacity exclusive to O2, or wake up tomorrow to an apology from the carrier for an error that has escalated to both the website and pressers.

Amazon.de also lists the Lumia 900 with an availability date of May 31st, at a price of EUR 575,00, but with only 16GB storage.

Update: Sorry folks, it seems O2 has changed the Lumia 900 specifications on their website to reflect 16GB. Looks like it was a typo and O2 was incorrect when confirming that it actually was 32GB. Thanks Pavel for letting us know of the change!

The Lumia 900 is now available at UK retailer Phones 4u in black and white. Both versions are reported to be only available at Phones 4u until May 27th when other sources will be able to stock the device. Purchasing either colour today from the retailer will also see a free Nokia Monster Headset, free Nokia Play 360 speaker and free 12 months unlimited WiFi bundled with the Lumia 900.

The Lumia 900 is available from £21/mo (£199 upfront fee) with O2, £31/mo with Vodafone or £33.50/mo (£59 upfront fee) with Orange. Note that delivery for the handset on an O2 deal is set back until 14/05, no reason is supplied. Also, should you have pre-ordered the Lumia 900 before April 16th, you're eligible for free earphones.

After the delays we've witnessed in the states, it's good to see Nokia pumping out stock for high demand.

The Samsung SGH-i667 aka the 'Mandel' is one of the last Windows Phone that we have very little information about. It passed BT certification in January and then cleared the FCC in March but since it did not co-launch with the HTC Titan II and the Nokia Lumia 900, it is presumed that the Samsung LTE phone was canceled.

Now, two images have leaked out of the device, the first one you see above is the back of the phone and it shows a svelte, glossy white smooth rounded back.

The second image is a screen cap of the device connected up to Zune Desktop, showing the device name. The AT&T logo is prominent on the device and featured in that image which is pulled from Microsoft's servers.

The device also appears to be sporting only 8GB of storage (with 5.61 available) which tells us that this was probably not a high-end, flagship phone for AT&T but an offshoot of the Focus Flash, which also goes by the name i667.

Other than that we just don't have any more information. The images come by way of the site WPXAP and no other details were given.

Samsung has reportedly taken a break from Windows Phone to work on a high-end Windows Phone 8 device for the fall (rumored to be a Galaxy S3 knock off). Could the 'Mandel' have been skipped or passed over by AT&T or even Sammy? We may never know.

We'll keep an eye out though we know we'd like to add it to our collection. Samsung looks good in glossy white.

Though it technically goes on sale tomorrow, we reported yesterday evening that some stores were selling the super limited and highly coveted Glossy-White Nokia Lumia 900. A device which has already earned the nickname 'The Stormtrooper.' We likey.

We managed to track one down (literally, it was the only one) here in midtown Manhattan and we picked it up for quite a steal ($99 and all we did was extend our contract by 3 months). To celebrate the latest addition to the Lumia 900 family, we figured we'd snap a couple of photos for you to get you drooling a bit and even do an old-fashioned unboxing video for giggles.

Many have concerns about the durability of the Glossy-White polycarbonate shell of the Lumia 900, specifically if it scratches or gets dirty. While we can't answer that now, we'll be putting it through its paces of the next few weeks.

For what its worth, the AT&T representative told us that Nokia's flagship phone has been selling very well, basically clearing off the shelves. That's a big deal for a store smack in the middle of the Big Apple. There are no Cyans around but we were told that customers were still ordering them and getting them direct fulfilled in about 2 days time, which ain't half bad.

Although seeing how the Lumia 900 is selling a few weeks from now will be more important than today, we have to admit, this is starting to really feel like a hit device with AT&T. There's a lot of buzz and nearly two weeks after launch, the phone is still clearing off of shelves. Now with the addition of the Glossy-White  version, we think this will keep it going even longer.

Finally, remember: today is the last day to get the $100 credit applied to your AT&T account for buying a new Lumia. That counts for the Glossy-White too, if you can find it...

Although we're expecting the white Lumia 900 to go on sale this Sunday, Nokia's North American President, Chris Weber, posted on Twitter a couple of photos with customers buying the phones today (see below).

We called six corporate stores (and one affiliate) here in metro New York to find out what the situation is for selling them early. Most stores received one demo unit to be put on display but aren't allowed to sell that one (obviously). Those same stores are expecting a second shipment of white Lumia's either today or tomorrow for purchases, however it is as their discretion if they will let them out the door early.

Most stores we spoke with seemed to be adhering to the "launch date" of Sunday the 22nd but of course, exceptions abound.

The glossy-white Lumia 900 will sell for the same $99 price point ($450 of contract) as the near impossible to find cyan and abundant matte-black. Should you be so lucky as to get one early, hit us up in comments.

Just a little FYI for you folks: On March 30th, AT&T will begin taking pre-orders for the Black and Cyan Nokia Lumia 900. What you may not know is that you face a real good chance of getting that highly anticipated Windows Phone before the official Sunday release on April 8th if you do that pre-order. That's right, they're shipping them before Sunday.

So says AT&T, who told us as much this morning.

However, if you want the joy of buying it in person, some AT&T stores will be open on Sunday allowing you to purchase it that very day. You'll need to check your local AT&T outlet to see if they'll be there to take your business but if they are, you'll have yourself a special Easter gift.

Oh and one more thing, the "glossy-white" Lumia 900 will be available in stores only, starting on the 22nd.

One of the surprise announcements today by AT&T was the inclusion of the glossy white version of the Nokia Lumia 900, due for release on April 22nd, just a few weeks after its Black and Cyan cousins. Back at Mobile World Congress, Nokia told us they had offered AT&T the white option as well, but at the time they had not taken it. However, it looks like AT&T changed their mind, possibly due to positive word of mouth and are now set to offer that color variant as well.

Anyways what you see above is the first image of the all-white AT&T version, which of course looks identical to the unlocked version except for that logo and AT&T software. We haven't seen this image floated around yet, so it's new to us.

Personally, we're torn between the Cyan and White version as both offer something different from the tried and tired "black slab" (yes, true #firstworldproblems here). For what it's worth, nearly 500 of you or 11.5% are waiting for the all-white version.

Oh and speaking of color variants, take this with a pinch of salt, but in our comments, WPCentral member mamacita42 had this to say:

"I was told by my local AT&T rep that the magenta/pink Lumia 900 was coming for Mothers day."

Certainly plausible, but we're not ready to believe just yet. But we wouldn't be shocked either. Thanks, anon, for the image

The Lumia 900 is available unlocked in white on eBay for £499, with an availability date of April 9th. The seller is sunnydayshopping, who has a positive rating history, and the location is Manchester, UK. Bands supported are: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100. An unlocked international version of the handset was previously available on eBay from the U.S. not so long ago for the same price.

The Lumia 900 is also destined for AT&T on April 9th, when we'll expect consumers will be able to get their hands on the device, which sports a 1.4Ghz chip, 1830mAh battery, 4.3" AMOLED ClearBlack display and 8MP shooter (with FF camera).

Three have been sold already, so be sure to check out the listing should you be interested in the high-end Windows Phone. Of course, WPCentral cannot take any responsibility for your purchases on eBay, and we always recommend caution.
