The Xbox One launch is going to be massive. Stores are struggling to keep up with pre-orders (I've personally had my own order put in "queue three" with my local GAME store), but fear not if you've yet to pre-order the console. UK supermarket chain, Tesco has some stock put to the side at its Extra stores that will go on a first come first serve basis.

Tomorrow's the big day (unless you reside in New Zealand and Australia). The Xbox One will be launching in multiple markets on November 22nd and it's not farfetched to assume everyone's real excited to get their hands on the next-gen console.

The only issue is that the launch day is a Friday, but what if you could have a Xbox One Doctor's Note to pull a sickie and get out of whatever is planned for you?

It's already set in stone that Microsoft's next-generation console, the Xbox One will require a day one patch - just like the PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, with the next Xbox, you'll not be able to play any games (or really do anything at all) until you've installed the update.

Luckily, should you be afraid that something may go wrong on the day to prevent you from getting on with some gaming, Microsoft has made an offline version of the day one patch available for manual installation via a USB drive.

It will not be long until the Xbox One consoles will find their way to entertainment centers and we are pleased to share that a dedicated YouTube app will be available from day one.

Microsoft Xbox team member Larry Hryb (aka @majornelson) shared the good news over on Twitter about an hour ago.  We do not know whether or not if the app will be a “view only” type app or if it will have Kinect integration for recording and uploading videos.

We know you're all excited to soon be able to pick up the Xbox One, power on the beast and smash some skulls in Ryze or net some superb shots in Fifa 14. Until the launch date comes around (November 22nd, should you require the friendly reminder), we've got some videos to keep us occupied, courtesy of owners who received their Xbox One units prematurely from retailers.

Back in August, we learned about a special edition white model of the Xbox One console that was going to be given to employees working in Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division as part of a gift package. Now Microsoft is offering one lucky (and financially well-off) eBay bidder a chance to own the only white Xbox One unit to be offered to the general public. The auction will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity geared toward helping wounded service members and their families.

Microsoft has released a new advertisement for its Xbox One console. The video shows a young couple who have the next-gen console set up with multiple accounts. Since Steve Ballmer declared his retirement from Microsoft as CEO, speculations on who will be the next big boss have been tossed around. One of the top candidates who appears on every list is the former CEO of Nokia, Stephen Elop; he supposedly had the heart to run Microsoft, but recent information that we reported on this morning has shown that he may do more damage than good.
