7dialer

JDB Pocketware has a nice selection of Windows Phone apps over at the Marketplace including Handyscan, SkyManager and 7Dialer. To celebrate reaching 1,000 likes over on Facebook, the Windows Phone developer has decided to share the joy by offering all their titles for just $.99 this weekend.

Just head on over to JDB Pocketware's Facebook page and "like" them. You'll then be sent to a page that has the link to JDB Pocketware's software sales page where you can send the app links to your Windows Phone.  The sale covers JDB Pocketware's entire app catalog including the latest title Fat You (a photo morphing app) and their financial app, MoBudget.

For many of the Windows Phone apps, this is a $2.00 savings. So if you were thinking about moving from Handyscan Free to the paid version, now's your chance to save a few bucks.

Update: If you don't have a Facebook account, you can still take advantage of the sale prices.  Just go to the Marketplace and search for JDB Pocketware (or the software title itself).  The listings should reflect the sales prices.  Just remember the sale ends on July 2nd.

Thanks, everyone, for the tip!

JDBPocketware, developers of the Windows Phone app Handyscan and SkyManager, have been hard at work improving another one of their apps. To celebrate their hard work on 7Dialer, they're putting the app on sale.

7Dialer is is a utility dialer that allows you to use the dial pad to pull a listing of your contacts that correspond with the letters dialed. On top of that, there is a tabbed page that you can use to pin frequently called contacts.

Additional features with 7Dialer include:

  • Copy and Paste numbers or contact details
  • Automatic contacts syncing
  • Options to call, SMS or email
  • "Call Later" reminders
  • Custom backgrounds for dialer
  • Dial pad sounds
  • Live Tile support
  • Call timers

The dialpad sounds range from the traditional tap sounds to a lightsaber. In just tinkering with 7Dialer, it comes across as a nice alternative to the traditional Windows Phone dialer.

There is a trial version available for 7Dialer to let you try things out before buying. The standard price for the full version is $2.49 but for a limited time, you can snatch it up for $.99. You can find 7Dialer here at the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Do you find that you can't pin enough contacts to the home screen for quick access? Introducing 7Dialer, by JDBPocketware, a solution for those who wish to create a contact wall where frequently contacted people can be pinned and accessed within seconds. The app features two main panes, the first is an intelligent search, while the second is the people wall.

A few limitations are present unfortunately. These include the inability to edit, remove or add contacts from the app (official People hub will need to be used, followed by  synchronising 7Dialer) and phone numbers for contacts pulled from Facebook will not be available due to privacy policies.

Some highlighted features include:

  • Smart dialling/filtering either with number pad or characters pad
  • Option to call, SMS or email
  • "Call later" reminders
  • Pin contacts as Live Tiles to start screen, as a to-do related to a contact
  • Fullscreen People wall (aka favourites) with customisable layouts
  • Dial tone sounds
  • Breathing effect for contact tiles
  • Live tile display options

7Dialer can be downloaded from the Marketplace for £1.49 ($1.99) and a free trial is available.
