The name Charlie Kindel should ring a bell or two. The long-time Microsoft employee was part of the Windows Phone team and left Microsoft over a year ago. According to GeekWire, Kindel is said to be on the move to Amazon. After 21 years at Microsoft, including the position of general manager on the Windows Phone team, what's Kindel going to be tasked with at Amazon?

The cyan and yellow Lumia 920 is now back in stock at both Amazon Wireless and AT&T. Cyan is exclusive to the US mobile operator and has proven to be limited in numbers, much like other versions of the Windows Phone, including yellow, which is always hard to find.

We've previously covered the black and cyan variants of the Lumia 920 being unavailable through AT&T, which is a familiar experience across the globe.  

It took the longest time for the Audible app to hit Windows Phone after its initial launch but it seems Amazon has got their act together rather more quickly for Windows 8. The app is of course available for Windows Phone too so many of you may already be familiar with the service.

Audible operates predominantly and most economically on a subscription based model. You pay a fee each month and can use credits to purchase new books, simple. So how does the Windows 8 app stack up? We take a quick look.

It also sports a dual-Core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 1800 mAh battery, NFC, LTE, and built-in Beats Audio.

Good news for anyone who's looking to pick up the HTC 8X on AT&T. Amazon Wireless has the Windows Phone 8 handset listed for just a single penny, that's just $0.01 when taken out with an eligible contract. Consumers will have to either extend their contract or add a new line to their AT&T account to be able to purchase the HTC 8X, but it's a superb deal with the festive holidays soon approaching.

The Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone has surfaced over at Amazon Wireless. All five colors are available and the cost? The Lumia 920 on a new accounts or eligible upgrades will cost you $99.99. The out of contract price is $499.99.

Black and White models of the Lumia 920 are listed as shipping within 24 hours. The Cyan, Yellow and Red models are listed with estimated shipping in one to two weeks.

The Lumia 920T, a Chinese version of Nokia's flagship Windows Phone, has completely sold out on Amazon's website in the region. Not only that, but the sold out notice was published within just 30 minutes of the Windows Phone listing going live.

Just like our London busses, you wait around for ages and then they all come at once. It seems that someone has flicked a switch somewhere and released a few updates today for Windows Phone.

Of particular note, Amazon Mobile on its way up to version 1.9.1 and picks up support for the oh-so close Windows Phone 8. It’s good to see some developers with early access readying their apps for the shiny new operating system which is only days away.

As if Amazon wasn't doing well enough with Windows 8 sales, seeing pre-orders dominate it's Best Sellers list, they have decided to sweeten the deal.
