SuperTube, the powerhouse YouTube application, was updated to support Mango earlier in November, adding a plethora of cool features.  However, even at the time of release, the developers acknowledged that there was a bug related to the recording and uploading feature.  Now, SuperTube has been updated to version 2.2, which fixes said bug. 

In case you missed the news the first time, SuperTube for WP7.5 adds the following features:

• Record videos and upload it to YouTube (Resume broken uploads support)
• Choose and order the sections in the main page
• Select channel to push notification
• Add playlist, inbox, my video
• Background uploads and downloads
• Loading list more quickly
• Inbox push notification
• Fast App Switching (FAS)

If you're excited about the progress the team at Microsoft has made with Windows Phone for the past year since the release back in October last year, then you're strongly urged to read Brandon Watson's latest blog post. In this article the face of Microsoft for developers goes into great detail about what lessons have been learned. Of course, not all lessons are visible to the consumer, the two most obvious being update delivery and marketing, which we've witnessed improvements for in the past few months.

Watson continues to dive into how developers were considered every step of the way, with the software giant not needing anymore brand awareness so the focus could remain on keeping the spotlight clear for app submitters. Some interesting points the article covers:

• Inspiring developers
• Make developers rich and famous
• Search and discover-ability
• Simplicity and removing friction

Watson, as well as the other faces to the Windows Phone team, continue to go out their way to ensure that the experience for not only the consumer, but for developers, is kept at the highest standard. Unlike Google and Apple, we have public faces, not a brand, to have contact with. It's for this reason why developer interest in the platform is increasing, and why Windows Phone will take the market by storm in the coming years.

Avanade, business solutions and managed services provider, has sealed a new partnership with Microsoft to develop and release enterprise solutions and services for Windows Phone. The strategic relationship, announced today, will see Avanade collaborate with Microsoft to develop said applications to enhance business productivity and increase the rate of adoption throughout the sector.

Avanade executive vice president, Ian Jordan, has said that the two companies will also be working closely with Accenture, and as additional investment into the platform, Avanade is building "Windows Phone Centers of Excellence" in the United States, Europe, China and India, which will bring foster innovations that address the specific needs of enterprises, mobile operators and original equipment manufacturers (OEM).

"Microsoft’s strength in consumer, enterprise solutions and cloud services positions it well to create a compelling mobile offering to empower a new generation of consumers and organisations. Today’s announcement will stimulate innovation in mobility, leading to new services and solutions to create greater value for mobile customers."

Avanade will also be enabling unique business productivity functionality by integrating Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint and Lync into the mobile platform. Paul Bryan, senior director of the Windows Phone division at Microsoft, goes onto talk about businesses requesting a new wave of mobile solutions to meet the increasing expectations of both employees and consumers.

All in all, interesting stuff. It'll be interesting to see how Microsoft tackles business and the working sector with Windows Phone (and Windows 8).

Thinking of buying a Windows Phone but not too sure when weighing pros and cons with competitor platforms? Will a free $25 prepaid app card sway your mind? That's correct, we have come across a prepaid app card program from Microsoft that will see customers who purchase a Windows Phone receive a prepaid card to kick-start their app collection for free. 

The offer will be started on November 18th. If you have purchased a handset between November 2nd and December 31st then you'll be eligible for the card. To redeem, you'll need a copy of the receipt and proof of purchase on the phone box. This is U.S. only.

The Halo Waypoint app is a useful way for gamers to check on their accomplishments in the Halo Xbox 360 games while on the go. But the mobile version of Waypoint lacks a few of the Xbox 360 version’s features, such as viewing campaign progress. That will change this fall, when 343 Studios overhauls all three versions of the Waypoint (Xbox 360, WP7, and PC) to more closely match each other in looks and features. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg…

Halo Waypoint will soon gain the ability to create custom challenges in Halo Reach. The game already features daily and weekly challenges, but now players will be able to make their own (such as scoring a certain number of head shots or grenade kills in specific maps) and share them with friends. Sure, that feature could have just been patched directly into Reach, but including it in Waypoint will encourage more players to check out the Halo-themed portal.

In the world of job hunting, producing an effective curriculum vitae (CV) aka resume for you yanks, is your best chance to differentiate yourself from other applicants. Uploading the finished document to job sites, attaching it to cover letters and more are just a number of ways to branch out and increase reach for yourself. We've now come across a different approach to publishing your CV to the mass. MonWindowsPhone has found a French CV for Thibaut Legendre in the Marketplace, which is reportedly the second app of its kind internationally.

While it may be different, original, available to thousands as a download and stand out, is the Marketplace really the place for CVs to be published? I'm not sure, probably not. It's the same principle as spam and useless apps. Even though this kind of app is genuine, there's little to no functionality and purpose for the average user. Should a trend kick off where we end up with thousands of CVs on the Marketplace, would we all be smiling?

I pass the question onto you, would you like to see a number of CV apps on the Marketplace? I'm thinking of charging £1.99 to download mine, should I develop one.
