Arrow

Any fans of DC Comic superhero Green Arrow watching the TV series Arrow? It started up last October on the CW here in the United States and later went to international broadcasting in late 2012. It’s getting favorable reviews with critics and fans alike. Either way, they’ve recently had some in-show advertisement from Microsoft, highlight a few products from the Redmond company.

We’re always a bit skeptical when on one day we get what looks like a “real” photo of an unreleased phone and the very next day we get what appears to be a mid-quality render of the same device. Call us crazy but that seems like it might be just enough time to break out some Photoshop for some fan art.

Could this be the Nokia Arrow Windows Phone?

A rather blurry image has surfaced that some believe is the back cover of the Nokia Arrow. The back cover does slightly resemble the patent drawings we ran across earlier but there's enough variations to have us scratching our head.

For instance, the photo has the camera and flash above and below, while the patent drawing has the two side by side. The rounded corners seem to match though.

There's still a lot of unknowns surround the Nokia Arrow and hopefully everything will come into focus next week at Nokia's New York event.

Curious though... if this holds true what would you think if the Arrow was a yellow Nokia Windows Phone?

For the last few weeks we’ve mentioned how Nokia will be unveiling three new devices for the US and that now looks to be the case.

The Verge is reporting via an unmentioned source that on September 5th, Nokia will unveil two new devices—code-named Arrow and Phi—with a third named Atlas for Verizon in coming weeks. Those names are of course just placeholders until marketing names are decided upon. With an 88% accuracy rating on rumors according to Tracour, there’s a good chance that this is accurate.
