Want some free Lumias? Of course you do! AT&T currently has the Nokia flagship Lumia 920 Windows Phone listed for free when taken out with a two-year contract. Checking out the official online store will present one with an online discount that drives down the price of the handset with only the contract to be added to the monthly bills.

The 8X Windows Phone by HTC has experienced a price drop at AT&T and is now available for $99 on contract for the 16GB version, while the 8GB variant is listed for just $49 when taken out with a plan. Sounds like a pretty good deal, right? If contracts aren't really your thing, AT&T has also slashed its pricing for the devices if you'd prefer to purchase them outright.

US mobile operator AT&T has signed a deal with UK WiFi hotspot provider The Cloud, which is owned by BSkyB. The partnership will see AT&T customers able to utilise up to 1GB of data in the UK free of charge, when connected to one of 16,000 locations using the operator's WiFi International app. While this deal sounds like a bargain, it does require a subscription to an international data add-on.

T-Mobile and AT&T customers who want a wireless charging capable HTC 8X are out of luck, as it's a Verizon exclusive. In addition, some folks may want a black or red version and instead have to settle for “California Blue” or yellow. Don't worry, we've got some good news for T-Mobile and AT&T customers.

AT&T has been in the firing line with the launch of the Lumia 900 and now the Lumia 920. Customers have placed orders for numerous versions of the Lumia 920, but it appears as though orders are not being processed with speed and are causing concerns with those who are eagerly awaiting their new Windows Phone.

AT&T are selling Nokia Purity Headphones by Monster for just $99. The wired headsets comes packed with in-line media controls to manipulate music playback, with comfortable fitting being featured as a highlighted selling point.

AT&T has featured Nokia's Lumia 920 Windows Phone in an advertisement, which says "hello!" to the 4G network spanning across North America. The carrier holds an exclusive deal with the Finnish manufacturer to stock the flagship Windows Phone in the US, once the platform launches tomorrow.

The Lumia 900 Windows Phone has dropped out of the top three selling mobile devices on AT&T, according to data collected by Canaccord Genuity. The Nokia flagship smartphone has enjoyed a number of months in the top three positions for best-selling devices (we covered Amazon's list), but due to weakening sales it has since fallen prey to competition. 

Do you own a Windows Phone that's connected on a AT&T account? You might not be aware of this, but you can restrict the use of personal data, should you have any privacy concerns or simply do not wish for the carrier to contact you. Customer Proprietary Network Information (or CPNI) is personal information obtained by the telecommunications company through providing a service to the customer. 

So what is this all about, and should you be bothered? AT&T collects information from you based on the services you have on your account. All carriers (and many companies) carry out the same actions to offer similar services / products to customers. If you've received a call from a company you use often who are attempting to sell you a related product, this is exactly what we're talking about.

Majority of the time the offers are exclusive to that call and may not be available online or in-stores. A mobile carrier may offer the latest Windows Phone at a discounted price, or on a plan that has 6 months subtracted from the contract. In this case, AT&T will contact you and provide said offers, but according to the privacy policy the carrier will not sell / disclose CPNI to third-parties without customer consent. You'll need to check the policies of other carriers and companies to be sure they don't sell on your information.

To keep everything in check and restrict AT&T's use of your CPNI, be sure to give the carrier a call. Should you feel the need to do so with any other company, you can also enquire to request exclusion from future marketing and promotional offers where possible.
