We're heading past CES and into 2013 where a lot is planned in the near future. Not just Microsoft either. We've got BlackBerry 10 on the horizon, but also a strong start of the year for Windows Phone marketing and hardware being pushed in multiple markets. The Lumia family of hardware will prove to be valuable assets in the struggle for marketshare, while HTC and Samsung devices compliment Nokia's investment. Let's not forget Huawei too!

Welcome to another edition of From the Forums! We'll run one more just before Christmas to get everyone into the festive spirit (should you celebrate such holidays, of course)! It's always a busy time on our community forum, but momentum is still rolling strong with Windows Phone 8 pushing in multiple markets. So what's been happening on our forums?

It has been an eventful week with Nokia's recent Deadmau5 partnership to bring more Lumia love to London, UK. We managed to turn up and boogie with other attendees while seeing how the Lumia 920 coped with low lighting, high volume levels and bags of movement. As well as a number of news stories appearing on the radar, our Windows Phone forum has been busy as always.

An upcoming Windows Phone meetup is on the horizon, which will take place in St. Louis. According to Rob who organises the events, this will be the last one for the foreseeable future year. But a few tricks are up his sleeve to drive interest to the set location. The plan is to give away a Lumia 900 and Lumia 710 to attendees, which will surely be superb stocking fillers for the upcoming festive holiday.

Now the weekend is (or has, depending on your location) drawing to an end, it's surely time for our Sunday wrap-up of the latest and greatest discussions in the Windows Phone Central community. So what's been happening the past couple of days in our forum?
