That's right folks it's delivery day. If you pre-ordered the Lumia 900 on AT&T you should have received your tracking number already. Most folks are reporting delivery should be by 3pm this afternoon. If you're like us, just sitting around refreshing your package tracking screen waiting for the 3pm delivery deadline, let us know in this thread: Delivery Day!!

We are still talking in our "Official has your Lumia 900 shipped yet thread" thread. It seams that AT&T took their sweet time getting the orders out which has  caused a little anxiety for some. We have 22 pages and 435 posts in this thread at last count. For a one day total that's a lot of members trying to help each other on a somewhat stressful day. Did you get your Lumia 900 already? This is the thread for you: (Official) I just got my Lumia 900

We have numerous discussions happening in our Lumia 900 forums, so don't just sit around looking at that tracking screen. Here are a few threads to get us going:

Wow! What a week we have been having so far. If you haven’t heard, Nokia is launching a new device in the US on AT&T called a Lumia 900/ We have all the news on the front page and even more discussions in our forums.

This week we are approaching the April 8th release date of the Lumia 900 so we are trying to curve our excitement by talking with some AT&T reps that already have the device.  If you are interested in talking with an employee of AT&T that has a Lumia 900, you can check out one of these threads.

We started the week in anticipation of the March 30th date when we would be able to pre-order our Lumia 900. Forum member scrapple started this thread “Preorder time on the 30th?” so we would have a place to talk about something we could only wait to do and we spent the 30th talking about who has already pre ordered there Lumia 900. Then comes this thread “Backordered Status?” where we discuss our order statuses. You can catch our official opinion on this topic on our main page: AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 sold out of pre-orders? Probably not.

If you’re in the St. Louis area, sporting a Windows Phone (Lumia 900) and if you would like a chance to hang out with other people who love Windows Phone, come join speedtouch at our first ever Windows Phone Meet up. You can get the full details in this threads: [April 14] St. Louis Windows Phone Meet up.

Our developers have been hard at work giving us lots of new Windows phone apps. You will have to visit our Spotlight forums to get in on all the App goodness. Here are just a few of the titles that have been posted:

We heard earlier in the week that Nokia will be paying AT&T for exclusive employee use of the Lumia 900 which basically means that some lucky AT&T folks are able to get there hands on the flagship Windows Phone early.

Our hottest thread this week is posted by forum member siriviz, who happens to be an AT&T rep and he has a Lumia 900 on hand. He started this thread "Nokia Lumia 900 (AT&T Rep)" for us and is ready and willing to answer your question about the new Nokia phone (he has also posted some nice pictures of his Cyan Lumia 900).  It seams that our forum members have a lot of questions for siriviz as this thread has already reached 7 pages and 130+ posts. If you are interested in getting a Lumia 900 there is lot of good information to be gleaned.

The WPCentral Forums are no stranger to AT&T reps stopping by as we also have another rep named mhopii who has joined our forums and started this thread: Just Got My Lumia 900. He was nice enough to post some nice pictures of his Black Lumia 900 and he too has offered to answer any questions you might have.

So hop in those threads and go satisfy your curiosity!

Windows Phone 7's Upgrade to WP8 Apollo is Now Unclear. That's what forums member 3lackdeath thinks after reading an article from tom's Guide. In this article Terry Myerson, the Corporate Vice President of Windows Phone is quoted dancing around the question.

Forums member blehblehbleh has posted the full transcription including audio for us. We can't draw any conclusions from his comments as he is clearly trying to not answer the question. That is enough to get us thinking there might be some truth to the whole "Will Windows Phone 7.5 devices be upgraded to Windows 8" issue.

Will we see Windows 8 on our current Windows Phone devices? Will generation 1 phones be left out of the upgrade process, only letting Generation 2 devices to get it? Why hasn't Microsoft come out and made a statement? It seams easy enough to us to just say yes or no. Is there more involved: Could the upgrade of your device rest on your carrier to decide or is it that some devices simply can't run Windows Phone 8 without ruining the user experience?

Microsoft reps claiming Windows Phone 8 definitely coming to second gen handsets, probably to first gen In an article posted on WMPowerUser, Thomas from WP7app.de claims to have spoken to Microsoft employees one who stated second generation handsets, like the HTC Radar and Nokia Lumia handsets will definitely get the update, and that first generation handsets “in some form” will probably get the update. All this conflicting information leaves us with more questions than answers.

We think the biggest question that needs an answer from Microsoft is simple. Who gets the update? Come join the discussion in our forums and let us know what you think. Help us find the answer to big question on everyone's mind.

Mobile World Congress 2012 has ended and we got a lot of news out of the event but not necessarily what you were hoping. We have some threads from Forums Members that are skeptical about the future of Windows Phone. For instance, in  "Ride the boat till it sinks, or jump ship?" forums member DizztMaker predicts the end of Windows Phone.

We also have a discussion about Microsoft, Nokia and what they would do (or more importantly wouldn't do) at MWC 2012 in: Prediction: Microsoft/Nokia will disappoint at MWC Without the announcement of a new high end windows phone and without news about Windows Phone 8 (aka "Apollo") was MWC 2012 a success? We think Microsoft has done enough to silence some of the critics. For example, we have a new device from Nokia, the Lumia 610, we also have a new device from ZTE, the Orbit,  both of which are low-end/emerging market devices more suited to the upcoming release of "Tango".

We also learned this week that Microsoft is opening up in 23 new markets. All that combined has the future of Windows Phone looking up, telling us that Microsoft is in it for the (very) long haul. We don't yet have a clear picture of the future so we are discussing that as well in threads like this one: Windows Phone 7's Upgrade to WP8 Apollo Now Unclear, which is sure to elicit some heated discussion.

This week in the forums we have been keeping ourselves busy trying to keep our mind off of Mobile World Congress which is just around the corner. You would think that all this waiting would lead to slow times in the forums but that's not the case. Windows Phone Central Editor George Ponder kicks things off with a give away in this thread "WPCentral Nokia Lumia 710 Giveaway!" That's right, we are giving away a Lumia 710. Now you have a reason to register in our forums that way you can join the discussions--you might even win that Lumia 710. A quick look through our most popular threads might help you find something interesting to discuss.

Forums Member rabit1 wants to know what is the best of the best WP phone? Everyone has an opinion on this one and it's not just a "what's your favorite phone discussion", you'll need to have good reason why your device is better than the others.

In this thread "Windows Phone Questions" Forums Member Spiify Is thinking about getting a Windows Phone and as the title suggests he has questions. It seems like every answer leads to another question in this thread, so join the discussion and let's see if we can get all the answers together for Spiify.

We talk a lot about the people who sell Windows Phones in the forums too. It seems we all have our own story about our experience and this thread is one of those: Looks Like I could be Jumping Ship to Orange. Forums Member Big Supes had a great experience in his local Orange Store.

This thread in our Off Topic Forums is drawing a crowd: "Windows Logo Redesigned for Windows 8". Change is good, right?

When you're done with those popular threads take a tour of our Applications and Games Spotlight forums and pick out a fewnew titles. Our developers have been generous again this week, here is a small sample of what has been posted:

That's right people we have an Off Topic Forums and you should check it out. This is the area of our site where we kick back, share and relax. In our Off Topic forums we have mini-adventures like in this thread: Ban the post above you! Game! If you want to take a shot at me, come get some, just remember it's all for fun. We also take time to share our personal lives, like this example from forums member Se1fcr3ation who is bored at work this week and needs help staying awake (we are helping him by posting up some good YouTube music videos). Forums member baseballbert is keeping us up to date on his daughter's life. He is a proud poppa and wants us to know "My daughter had her first real meal!!!"--now that some great news to share. It's all about community and friendship in the off topic area of our forums--it's where we share our lives and adventures.

We also share more serious non-Windows Phone topics in this section. Did you know that the Windows Logo will be Redesigned for Windows 8? Now that's an interesting non-WP7 discussion. Forums member muvolt Shared this thread with us: The truth about Greece... catching up on some current topics in the world.. It's interesting for us to read what our forums members have on there mind, so post a thread and let us know. Forums Super Moderator TheWeeBear posted this thread: Ketchup Graffiti Now that's is amazing and everyone should go check it out.

The Off Topic Forums at WPCentral is for you, our Members, to post what ever you want, all non-Windows Phone topics are welcome, so come tell us what's on your mind.

Sometimes in our forums we come across a member who stands out. Someone who likes to give a little more of himself to help our community. Se1fcr3ation is one of those type of people. He has created a thread in our Windows Phone 7 OS Discussion this stickiest thread is a must read for anyone interested in Windows Phone. We like to think we know a thing or two about WP7 but Se1fcr3ation has taken this to a new level buy adding all the new and old Windows Phone information to his thread--we could all learn something from it. It's also a great tool for quick reference with links to a lot of Windows Phone information.

Basically I’m going to be breaking down a phew things related to WP in General that are not that OBVIOUS and hopefully help some of you out

First things first: If you have questions here at WPcentral we have a GREAT community (on most parts and MOST of us are willing to help and answer any question you may have.

From the WPCentral Forums...

Well they went and did it. That's right AT&T doubled their upgrade fee and we're none to happy about it. "AT&T To Double Upgrade Fee (From February 12th 2012)" was our hottest thread in the forums this week. If it's all too confusing to you, jump in the forums and join the discussion even if you just need to vent a little. It has also been speculated that AT&T had this same pricing before. Forum member ninjaap says "I've been with AT&T for a long time and I'm positive the upgrade fee used to be $35 then at some point it dropped to $18. Now it's back up to $38. Oh well. If you ask, sometimes the CS rep will credit you the fee." Is this increase really that big of a deal? Join us in the forums for the discussion.

Forum member baseballbert wants to know if he should get the Nokia 900 or wait for an Apollo Nokia phone? Bert is one of our more colorful members and he is also one of our favorite thread starters. He seams to have a way with starting threads that draw a crowd and this thread is right in line with that. If your considering getting a Nokia Lumia 900 when it is released on AT&T, this is the thread for you.

My WP7 "Aha! Moment". We have all had them haven't we? Forum member GlassAdam wants you to share yours. There is even talk of turning one of these "Aha Moments" in to a commercial. Well were talking about it in that thread, who knows what could happen.

"What I want to see in Apollo" is a topic we get a lot of threads about. Forum member justwar88 has a great idea and he even provided a picture of what he would like to see.

Do you have a wish list for the Apollo update?

Forum member Oronolek has a word of advice for you Lumia 800 owners in this thread: "Word of advice, don't drop this thing" He included a picture in the thread. Ouch! That hurts just looking at it!

From the WPCentral Forums...

We have been talking a lot about the future this week in the forums. There was some information leaked about Windows Phone 8 aka "Apollo". This information lead to a lot of speculation about what the future holds for Windows Phone. We spent some time debating whether Windows Phone 7 devices will be updated to Windows Phone 8. What do you think? Will we see some version of "Apollo" on our Gen 1 and Gen 2 phones?

We covered issues with Sales reps earlier this week and that discussion continues in this thread by KarateDad: "Two AT&T Reps tried to talk me OUT of buying a WP".  If you're heading in to a store to look at a new Windows Phone this thread is a must read. It's better to be prepared than surprised.

Forums member bush715 needs your help. He is trying to decide what Windows Phone to get on which network. Jump in the discussion and let's get him headed down the right road. You can join the discussion in this thread: "Here's what happened"

"Am I dreaming?" I think you just might be. Forums member scottcraft wants a new device and he has a very specific request and it sounds good to me. What do you think?

When we're not talking Windows Phone were discussing Supper Bowl predictions and even with the game over the discussion continues. How can that be? Well we like to get a little silly at times in our forums.

When your done with all of those threads jump in our Applications Spotlight and Games Spotlight forums and pick up some new offerings from our developers. Yes, our developers have been busy again this week. Here is a small sample of what has been added this week:

One topic that seems to come up a lot in the forums is individual experience with sales representatives when looking at a Windows Phone. For the longest time these posts were mostly bad experiences, after all Windows Phone is the "new kid on the block" so it seems to take a beating on most occasions. Yet Windows Phone continues to get great reviews and its popularity is increasing. The positive news is on the rise and so are the forum posts about great experiences when inquiring about Windows Phone devices. Still, there are all sorts of stories that you folks are sharing with each other. Here are a few:

In the thread "Rogers impressed me today", forum member based_graham had a great experience with a sales rep:

"So I went into Rogers today and saw this sweet looking Nokia Universal Dash so I tried it out with my Lumia 800 and all goes well so at the counter I asked about the 710 and the sales guy was like "Yeah we just got them in for 255 unlocked. Amazing phone the only phone to really rival the iOS and functionality with Mango is amazing" he kept going on and on about it and briefly mentioned that they might get the Lumia 900 in March/May. He also said that Mango and Lumia phones have all been getting great reviews etc

Glad to see sales rep in Canada excited about it of course its only one store but I might pop in another Rogers and see what they have to say about it. I was going to buy it straight up but its not unlocked kinda choked."

In "Odd thing T-Mo rep told me while looking at Lumia 710 today", forum member speedtouch had an interesting interaction when inquiring about getting a Lumia 710 off contract.

"My wife and I went to T-Mo today so that I could show her the Lumia 710. I had been to a different T-Mo store last week to see it for myself. While speaking with the T-Mo rep today I told him I was not interested in getting a 2-yr contract. I want to buy the phone outright and go on a month-to-month plan. He said that's fine but I would lose access to roaming on other non-T-Mo towers. That I would only have access to T-Mo towers, not to any other towers that T-Mo has roaming agreements with. Is this true? I have never heard of that before.

He said that the only way I could get access on non-T-Mo towers is by going with a contract on T-mo. My BS meter shot up to 100% when he told me that. Am I right and he's wrong?"

From the WPCentral Forums...

Who would of thought that one of the most talked about topics of the week in the WPCentral forums would be Google? If you don't know what I am talking about check out this from our front page: Google is watching every step you take. I started this thread: "Google... It's over for me" wanting to know if I was the only one but the answer seams to be that I am not alone. What is it all about? You will just have to read the thread. Once you have absorbed all of that you might want to know how to Switch from Gmail to Hotmail in three steps. What are the advantages? This thread has some helpful information that might answer some of your questions: "Any reason to switch to a live account instead of Gmail?"

Forums member SebLC wants you to know "Metro is not just a pretty face for Microsoft" resulting in an interesting discussion about our favorite design philosophy.

We told you we have a Meta forums for announcements and we made one today "Ranking stars change", so check that out for the latest on forum rankings.

It has been a slow week for Windows Phone--call it the calm before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) storm--but that didn't slow down our developers any. We have a fresh new batch of Apps and Games in our Application and Games Spotlight Forums. Here is a sampling of what has been posted this week:
