Storage Check has been available on Nokia Windows Phones for a few weeks now, bundled with a firmware update. The app enables consumers to check exactly what's stored on the phone and manage the data accordingly. The company has already updated Storage Check and it's currently listed over on its Beta Labs website. This is to help the team squash bugs and solve issues consumers have experienced attempting to use the app.

We're not talking patents, but Nokia has dealt yet another blow to HTC. The Finnish handset maker has been granted a preliminary injunction by the Amsterdam district court, regarding technology utilised by HTC in its flagship device - the HTC One. It's boasted that the HTC One sports high-amplitude microphones, but this is the same dual-membrane technology that Nokia uses in its Lumia family of Windows Phones (we've even looked at the Lumia 920 vs HTC 8X recording a live event).

Nokia has today published its Q1 2013 financial report, which details some interesting numbers showing just how far the company has come since first hopping on to the Windows Phone train. While Nokia has reported an operating loss in the first quarter of 2013 (€150 million), €6.5 billion ($7.65 billion) in revenue was also highlighted. It's not looking all bad for the Finnish handset maker.

My Nokia Blog is reporting on specifications the next Nokia flagship Windows Phone (possibly the RM-877) will feature. Mentioning sources familiar with company plans, it's believed that the device will indeed have a superior camera to what's currently available on the platform. That we can be sure of as Nokia is pushing optics even further, but what about the other entries on the specifications sheet? According to the source, Nokia is working on two different models of the EOS, which we've previously looked at numerous times.

There’s not too much to go on with this story but evidently a new Nokia phone, RM-877 (RM-877_nam_att_205) with a 1280x768 display has been caught in the web of AdDuplex.

As to what RM-877 is exactly, we cannot discern. The good news is that being 1280x768, it can only be a 9xx series or higher phone (Lumia 8xx have 800x480 displays, as does everything else below it). From there we can speculate that this is either a Lumia 920 refresh or the anticipated ‘EOS’ phone with a high megapixel camera akin to the Pureview 808, which will be sold alongside the current Lumia 920.

A shot taken by the Lumia 928 was uploaded to Picasa by a Nokia employee (according to the associated Google+ account). What's interesting is that the photo was quickly pulled, but remains available thanks to @evleaks where the shot was published again. We're still attempting to create a collage with pieces of information on the Lumia 928, but evidence of the Windows Phone in action is certainly pleasing.

There's nothing we love more than to see consumers create their own media to promote the platform and smartphones they use. There have been a  number of Lumia Switch Pitch videos created, but one that caught our attention is by the YouTube account benurfi. Titled "Benji_SwitchPitch," the video goes into some detail as to why the Lumia 920 is a good choice for consumers.

If you were following along with our coverage of MWC last week, you'll know that for Windows Phone it was pretty much the Nokia show. That's not to say that other manufacturers weren't present, simply that Nokia were without a doubt the most proactive in getting the most out of the annual mobile conference.

Now Nokia Developer have posted a very well produced video over on YouTube which gives you a great chance to see everything that Nokia were doing last week (primarily on the Monday). That includes the Nokia Apps Developer Conference (ADC) which we sorely wanted to cover, but were kept somewhat busy with everything else Nokia had to show.

A couple of days ago the Instagram icon was spotted on a Nokia Lumia 620 promotion banner, stirring up expectations near and far. By itself, the banner probably means nothing. Could be nothing but a careless photoshopping error from the designer, right? But now interesting rumor is coming out of China, the wonderland of leaks, again pointing to Instagram availability on Windows Phone.

Lissted specialises in Twitter accounts that are most influential to followers. The website has published a blog entry showcasing which brands were most discussed while Mobile World Congress 2013 was underway. The results aren't too surprising.
