Should you not be aware of what O2 Tracks is all about, the service enables consumers to check out the Top 40 and 20 music charts on a smartphone while on the go. UK mobile operator O2 has confirmed pricing and availability of the Huawei Ascend W1. The Windows Phone was previously reported to be heading to the UK late next month, but the company has announced shipping will begin on March 7th. It's a mid-range Windows Phone 8 smartphone, which was unveiled earlier this year at CES.
We're not ones to go with the saying, "We told you so." But, well, we told you so. All you hungry consumers who are O2 UK customers can now relax as the Lumia 920 is heading to O2 this month. The UK mobile operator has listed the flagship Windows Phone on the official website, also revealing a February release (though no exact date has been provided).

British carrier O2 announced back in January that they planned to carry the Huawei Ascend W1 later this year. O2's "coming soon" has revealed that the W1 will be arriving sooner rather than later, in late March. O2 will offer the W1 in Electric Blue and Electric Pink at an unspecified price. There's no exact release date yet, but at least we have a good idea of when to expect it.
UK mobile operator O2 has announced on Twitter that the Lumia 620 will be on sale tomorrow, for one day only to celebrate Valentine's Day. The company asked its Facebook audience which mobile device they'd love the most and the Windows Phone received the most "likes". Should you be looking at getting the handset on O2 (for yourself or a loved one), it'll be priced at £119 tomorrow without a contract.

The Lumia 920 is on its way to Ireland, according to a tweet published by Nokia. The Windows Phone 8 device is set to be available later this week on both Vodafone and O2. Vodafone previously published a Lumia 920 support page, which led us to assume the handset would be picked up by the network.
We know a lot of people are anxious for Windows Phone 7.8, the OS update for current Windows Phone 7.xx users who want the new “look” of 3 Live Tile sizes, in addition to some other minor enhancements.
O2, via Twitter support, has responded to one customer by stating the update will come by the end of January and will be delivered by Zune desktop.
We should caution that O2 Twitter is not exactly an official announcement and we have seen some false information come from carrier support before, but the detail and confidence by which O2 responded here gives us some hope.
A three-month trial launched in October by mobile network O2 found that the vast majority of customers who participated were happy to purchase their HTC One X+ without a charger. The pilot offers the HTC One X+ handset with just the USB-to-micro USB connection lead to plug into existing chargers. Buyers who did not already have a charger had the option to purchase a charger separately from O2 at cost price.

The UK mobile operator O2 has announced plans to stock the Huawei Ascend W1 in a recent presser. The Windows Phone has reared its head at CES 2013, and we've had the pleasure to view the device in more detail with some hands-on action. O2 has become a major partner for Microsoft in the UK with the network sporting an array of Windows Phones available for consumers. The Ascend W1 will join other handsets in stores early 2013.
Are you looking at new Windows Phone 8 devices for 2013? The Samsung ATIV S is available from O2 on contract from free when taken out with a plan worth £57 a month, or for £179 with an accompanied £16.50 plan. The high-end flagship Windows Phone is packed full of features that make the price point well worth the investment. We've taken the ATIV S for a spin for just over a week and have been impressed with what Samsung has produced.
A forum page over on O2 Ireland's site indicates that they are currently testing the Samsung ATIV S on their network. The post says that testing began on December 4 for both the ATIV S and the HTC 8S. It isn't clear just how long the testing process will take, but it may be an indicator that both phones are very close to being released.
The Samsung ATIV S was the first Windows Phone 8 device announced and the last to show at the party. For reasons still unexplained, it has been delayed, with rumored release dates ranging from the end of December to sometime in February 2013. Windows Phone Central received a communication from Samsung saying that the ATIV S was still on track for the "end of the year."
Walk into any mobile phone shop anywhere and you’ll be greeted with row after row of rectangle shaped devices. How on earth does one choose which phone to buy when faced with this veritable sea of similar looking handsets? Nokia have done good work with their promotion of their Lumia range, often having dedicated displays to highlight the devices in stores but this alone does not sell devices.

Nokia has an offer open for those who have purchased a Lumia 820 through O2 UK. Free wireless charging shells are available to enable wireless charging when used with supported docks and stations. The offer is available until January 18th, 2013. Unfortunately this offer is restricted to O2 and only covers specific dates.

A Lumia 820 dummy display unit has been spotted at an O2 UK store. the Windows Phone hasn't yet been announced by the carrier, but we've been previously informed that the Lumia 920 will be stocked in due course. While this is by no means official confirmation, there's little reason for O2 to actually have a dummy unit in-store if they weren't at least planning on selling one.
