Liquid Daffodil, the developer behind popular apps including Unification, tweepgods, Add to Contacts and more, has returned with another FUN4FANS special, where numerous apps have been made available for free. This price alteration will last for 24 hours on affected apps, detailed in this news bulletin. This isn't the first (or the last) time the developer has rewarded consumers with attractive price drops.

Want some free Lumias? Of course you do! AT&T currently has the Nokia flagship Lumia 920 Windows Phone listed for free when taken out with a two-year contract. Checking out the official online store will present one with an online discount that drives down the price of the handset with only the contract to be added to the monthly bills.

Audible, the popular audiobook service, has bumped its Windows Phone offering and has launched an exclusive offer for consumers. Should you download and use the apps available for either Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, create a new account and reside in the US, you'll be eligible for a free audiobook for trying out the service. Pretty neat, eh?

Extreme Lines, sounds familiar? It should as we last reviewed this Windows Phone title back in 2011. It's a game for those who enjoy line puzzles with addictive gameplay. The overall goal is to form lines of balls with the same colour. Extreme Lines has been re-published to the Windows Phone store (under a different publisher account) and is available for free until March 30th.

We've just been informed that Cellular Live Tile, WiFi Live Tile and HD EPG Pro will be made available for 72 hours for consumers, starting right this very second (depending on region). All three apps are developed by Formentera Sunset S.L. and are well rated on the Windows Phone Store. So what are the apps all about and should you be interested?

There's some more news on great deals available today. Mehdoh is now listed as free on the Windows Phone Store, and NAVIGON (both US and European versions) is also currently on sale. It's good to see more deals being featured on the store to help push out the content that consumers wish to take full advantage of on new hardware.

It looks like AT&T want to really put some Windows Phones in customers hands as a new offer evidently has gone live.  We just got word that AT&T is offering a new deal to help push Windows Phone 8 devices starting…well yesterday and going through February 21st (the same date as the free wireless charger offer).

The new deal is simple: buy one Windows Phone 8 device and get $100 off of the same type of Windows Phone e.g. if you buy a Lumia 920, you can get $100 off of a second Lumia 920. Likewise if you buy an HTC 8X you can get the discount for $100 off of a second 8x.

Of course there are the usual qualifiers but still, that’s a good incentive to push some Windows Phones out the door for at least a few weeks.  No word if this will be offered online or only in-store. Check out the full details from an internal AT&T email after the break...

Good news for anyone who's looking to pick up the HTC 8X on AT&T. Amazon Wireless has the Windows Phone 8 handset listed for just a single penny, that's just $0.01 when taken out with an eligible contract. Consumers will have to either extend their contract or add a new line to their AT&T account to be able to purchase the HTC 8X, but it's a superb deal with the festive holidays soon approaching.

We have received a note from the developer of Phonos that the recently updated Sonos controller app, Phonos is now on a half price sale in the Windows Phone Store.

If you are a Windows Phone user then you’ll likely already know that Sonos have abstained from making a controller app to work with their multi-room entertainment system for the platform. Phonos has been around for a while and we have reviewed it previously, it is now on a promotion offer until the end of the year.

The Lumia 920 is being picked up for just £399 (excluding £10 top-up) at EE stores on PAYG (Pay As You Go), according to a thread on the Hot UK Deals website. The Nokia Windows Phone is bundled with a wireless charging plate and while being locked to EE's realm of magic, it's at least £100 cheaper than purchasing the device unlocked at retailers.

Lumia 920 on AT&T price drop to $49.99

From this Friday AT&T will be offering the Lumia 920 at any of its company owned retail stores for $49.99. Of course you’ll need to sign a contract for two years with voice and data, but at least the carrier will be matching both Amazon and Walmart.

This Friday will see plenty of ‘crazy deals’ but this still some compelling pricing from AT&T who are already selling the device for $99.99.  The deal is available from this Friday 23rd to the 25th for those of you who are keen to grab one.

Nokia's 'Free Wireless Charger' page has been live for a while, but registration isn't quite ready / open yet. The Finnish manufacturer has however published the terms and conditions, which reveal exactly what will be on offer and who will be eligible for said free gear. Those who purchase either the Lumia 920 or Lumia 820 through Phones4u will be able to claim a free wireless charging plate.

Nokia has an offer open for those who have purchased a Lumia 820 through O2 UK. Free wireless charging shells are available to enable wireless charging when used with supported docks and stations. The offer is available until January 18th, 2013. Unfortunately this offer is restricted to O2 and only covers specific dates.

In one of the more creative offerings we have seen to get people to buy new Windows Phone 8 handsets, we like this one from Carphone Warehouse.  By simply purchasing a Nokia Lumia 820 you qualify for a free upgrade to Windows 8 Pro on your PC. (Unfortunately, Phones4U have an exclusive on the 920).That reinforces the notion that Microsoft (and their partners) are really pushing the idea that the desktop OS and phone are companions.

Fans of Microsoft's mobile OS for years have clamored for such a marketing campaign and now it looks to finally be happening. Thanks, Louis B, for the photo!

Just after midnight last night AT&T finally starting taking pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 for this Friday’s release. Included with the Lumia 920 is of course one free wireless charging plate—a $49 value.

We had reports coming in all day though that customers were not getting the free pad offer upon checkout. In fact, there was often no mention of it during the whole pre-order process. Some in our viewership called AT&T and were told by customer-service reps (CSR) that in fact AT&T has “run out” of said plates, effectively making the offer over just mere hours after it had begun.

Microsoft's BUILD event is now over, which took place last week and saw the company reveal details about Windows 8's launch, as well as launching the Windows Phone 8 SDK for developers who have been anticipating its release. To celebrate the event, the developer of MonsterUp Adventures, Karios Games, has slashed the price of the title temporarily.

To provide further incentive for consumers to choose the Lumia 920, UK retailer Phones4u is offering a free Nokia 360 Wireless Speaker with each Lumia 920 order. This is on top of the already established inclusion of a free wireless charger with every Lumia sold.

The newest addition of Windows is here and its looking very smart indeed but its lacking one thing, Media Centre.

That’s right folks, Microsoft’s analytics said only 10% of the Windows user base uses this full featured DVR replacement so are set to charge for it. The good news is, you can get it for free. Read on to find out how..
