If you've made the switch from AT&T to T-Mobile with your Windows Phone and are having trouble access T-Mobile's LTE Network take a look at your APN settings.

Windows Phone Central member MikeSo made the switch with his Nokia Lumia 900 and had trouble accessing the LTE network. He could see the network, just not connect to it.

Microsoft's Windows Phone Next App Star competition is heating up and 64 finalists have been selected for the public voting phase. If you're not up to speed, it's a contest for Windows Phone apps to be voted on by the public for $60,000 worth of prizes. Through head-to-head style voting, the grand winner will pocket the opportunity to have his (or her) app featured in a Windows Phone prime-time TV advertisement spot in the US.

We're heading past CES and into 2013 where a lot is planned in the near future. Not just Microsoft either. We've got BlackBerry 10 on the horizon, but also a strong start of the year for Windows Phone marketing and hardware being pushed in multiple markets. The Lumia family of hardware will prove to be valuable assets in the struggle for marketshare, while HTC and Samsung devices compliment Nokia's investment. Let's not forget Huawei too!

With all this action, there must be some hot threads on the forum, right? Correct! We'll be rounding up a handful for you to check out today.

If you’re a particularly keen user you may have spotted that the v3.2 update for our official app has just hit the marketplace. This is another incremental update clearing up some of the loose ends since the v3 release and various updates to our website.

You can pick up the update on the Windows Phone marketplace here, but if you want to know what’s coming first you can find the change list below.

There aren't many things that I am certain of in this world. But something I know for a fact is that after a big app update, the public are amazing at finding bugs that a developer would miss.

With that simple fact I direct you here to find the v3.1 update to our official Windows Phone app. This is entirely a bug-fixing release which addresses several areas mostly within the forums, a few are listed below...

Windows Phone Central, with the help of Mobilicity, is having another Photo Contest to win a Windows Phone -- the Nokia Lumia 710 (review) which just arrived on the Canadian carrier. This time around, we've scaled things down a bit and instead of a black/white theme, we are going with the Great Outdoors. It doesn't have to be a picture of the Grand Canyon and a picturesque shot of your front yard will do.  It can be a sunset, a photo of the lake, the mountains, a garden, just anything outdoorsy that is eye appealing.

Here's the fine print...

• Photos must be taken with a Windows Phone.
• Only one entry per reader.
• Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, May 21, 2012 at 5:00pm EST.
• Due to carrier limitations, only residents in the Mobilicity coverage are eligible for the first prize.
• Entries can be submitted in this Windows Phone Central forums area.

We will announce the winners by Thursday, May 24, 2012.  First prize is a Nokia Lumia 710 with six months of service from Mobilicity. Second prize is $100 gift card to the Windows Phone Central Accessory Store. Third Prize is a $50 gift card from the Windows Phone Central Accessory Store.
