The Xbox One is launching later this year. Sometime in November actually. The system will retail for $499 here in the United States. With that you get an Xbox One, next-generation Kinect, and the new Xbox One controller, and a 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members. We’re bound to see a handful of third-party accessories, but these are the official accessories you’ll be able to pick up on day one.

The 2013 E3 is in full swing in downtown Los Angeles. The annual trade show for computer and video games is the largest in the world where major companies like Microsoft and Sony reveal their major games for the coming year. The event is only open to industry insiders and media, but you can live the experience vicariously through us. Check out some photos and video from the Microsoft/Xbox booth at E3. We can argue about DRM, privacy issues, hardware differences, specs sheets and more till we go blue in the face. But there’s one thing that triumphs all when it comes to launching a new console – games. Below are games you’ll be enjoying on the Xbox One (and a few for 360!). So we know that the Xbox One is headed to retailers in November and o celebrate the launch, Microsoft is also introducing a limited-edition commemorative bundle to fans who reserve the system at major retailers.

The bundle will be available in limited quantities for $499.99. Reserving the limited edition bundle will guarantee that you’ll be able to get your hands on the new system on day one. Each commemorative bundle will include an Xbox One system that comes in premium black packaging with a limited edition Xbox One Day One wireless controller, as well as a unique commemorative Day One Achievement.

On May 21^st, when Microsoft officially announced the Xbox One a lot of questions still remained. Will I be able to sell my games? Share my games? Do I need an internet connection once a day or once a month? These were questions we did not expect answered until E3, but Microsoft has decided to attack these concerns head-on and has shared their plans on all these fronts and more. There’s this thing called the Xbox One and it’s coming out later this fall. Apparently it’s some new console from Microsoft. Maybe you’ve heard of it. We’ve got a fairly good picture of the hardware story for the Xbox One and will learn more about the software and games throughout June during E3 and Build. Now we know what the cases for Xbox One games will look like thanks to Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson.

The Xbox Windows Phone games SPY Mouse and Trivial Pursuit were introduced late last year as Nokia exclusives. That exclusivity ended today and both titles became available for all Windows Phones.

SPY Mouse is a puzzle game from the makers of Flight Control and has you playing the role of Agent Squeak, a super secret mouse operative. You guide Agent Squeak through over seventy levels spread out across six worlds. Each world has its own frisky hench-cat to defeat.

According to sources familiar with company plans, Microsoft is preparing to roll out an update for the Xbox 360. This package will implement changes to the dashboard UI and will enter into a public beta in late June or early July. Said changes are believed to be in preparation for the next-generation console, which Microsoft will be announcing soon.
