Three UK announces availability of Nokia Lumia 925; now available for pre-order

Lumia 925

UK mobile operator Three has listed the Lumia 925 for pre-order on the company's online store. The new Nokia flagship Windows Phone is set to launch this year and will offer a lighter alternative to the Lumia 920. What's more is the handset is 4G LTE capable, meaning a free upgrade to Three's LTE once launched.

So how much will you be looking to pay for the Lumia 925 on Three? Starting at £35 a month, the mobile network bundles unlimited data, 500 minutes and 5,000 SMS - more than enough for those hardcore web surfers. If you require more minutes, Three's The One Plan is just £2 more a month, but includes 2,000 minutes and 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes (as well as the unlimited data allowance).

The handset is also available as PAYG for £449.99 with a £10 top-up. Should you pre-order today, Three will also hand you a free wireless charging stand, worth £95. Estimated delivery date is June 21st.

Just a note that "The One Plan" also offers unlimited tethering! I'll definatly be getting this from Three, cant wait! Their deals put the other networks to shame!

Unlimited tethering* last year in October and November i didn't have a home internet connection, the whole family was using it as a hotspot, we used around 250GB in October and 220GB in November, there were no limits or warnings sent to me.

which deal doyou have with Virgin? Virgin dont allow tethering, and if you use more than 3.5GB on their "unlimited" plans, they limit your speed to 384K.

Good to see that they improved availability after announcement a lot this time compared to earlier.
One more good thing is they stopped carrier exclusives in UK.
I still like to see the availability in 2 weeks and the preorders on the same day or in first week of announcement.

one thing im not happy about is white being exclusive to O2 and 32GB being exclusive to Vodafone, a bit stupid to be honest

I'm afraid this only partially the case, because Vodafone have 32GB exclusive and O2 have white exclusive unfortunately. Great deal at Three though because the phone is free and they throw in a free charging shell and desktop charger. I've pre-ordered mine today and my son is having my 920. Three only currently offer in black, but that's not a bad thing because most reviewers have stated that black is the nicest colour.

PAYG price is good, considering O2 want £559 for the phone on a 24 month contract at £11 a month.

Just need to hope I can get the Three one network unlocked cheaply.
Although EE were offering the 920 for £379 not long after launch.
As many don't consider the 925 to be an "upgrade" is £449 a big hight?

The 920 is currently still 250 quid at EE stores only with free 70 quid Bluetooth speaker with 20 pound top up plus claim a free wireless charger online

Hahahaha I'm not that f'd up about it, but I to am waiting for T-Mobile to say something about this phone.. They do need to hurry it up.

Of the big four... Eos, 925, 928, & 920 (I have the 920)... I find the 925 most appealing. It's sexiest in design. I guess i value that pretty highly in my phone choice. To the point I almost got the 8x based on design alone
With that said, can someone buy me one of these and unlock it so I could use it on at&t :)

I agree and LOL I'm actually leaving AT&T as soon as it comes out here in the US and going to T-Mobile! I have the 820 so it'll be an upgrade for sure!

Hahaha I love him, he just want a good phone that has Xbox Live, games on it lol.. He don't care about the other stuff to much..

I could never understand why providers would prevent wireless tethering, since they get paid one way or the other......

Just pre-ordered, although I think my Samsung Ativ S screen has spoilt me the last few weeks...

Happy to keep my 920 unlocked on Virgin for another six months, then get this before Xmas when they're £250-£300 unlocked on ebay.
