Toilet People, a 3D board game for your Windows Phone

Toilet People

Toilet People is a board game available for both Windows Phone 8 and 7.x devices. The game has 3D graphics and supports up to four players in pass/play fashion. If you're short on human players, computer opponents will help fill the gap.

Toilet People isn't a bad game for your Windows Phone with a simple objective, make it from the starting point to the finish first. However, there are enough twists and challenges in between those two points to make the game interesting.

Toilet People has nice graphics, game play interesting, and while the Windows Phone game may not appeal to everyone, there is a trial version available to give the game a try before committing to the purchase.

Toilet People

The opening menu for Toilet People has options to continue an existing game, start a new game, access the game's settings, and view the about screen. Settings cover language choices, resolution options (high or medium) and sound/music levels.

In starting a new game you are presented with options for the number of players and game board size. After the number of players are chosen, you can customize your avatar with a picture from your Windows Phone Pictures Hub, launch a camera app and capture a portrait or just use a player number.

The game board has your dice running along the bottom of the screen with your player line-up listed up top. Game play is turned based with players rolling the dice (tapping the screen) and moving the corresponding number of squares (or platforms).

Toilet People

Some game board squares have consequences (loss of turn, move players back or forward a square, earn stars, swap places with players, etc.). When you hit a cross-roads you'll be given an option on which direction you'd like to travel. Toilet People requires a little luck to get the right dice roll and a little strategy in using the squares to your advantage.  You can find a full listing of what each platform/square can do from the help menu (the ? button on the game screen).

Toilet People

At first glance, Toilet People didn't seem that interesting of a game but after tinkering with it for a while, it can be a fun time waster of a game. There is a free trial version that will get you through most of a game (just enough to give you a feel for things) with the full version running $1.99.

Toilet Paper is available for both Windows Phone 8 and 7.x devices and you can pick it up here in the Windows Phone Store.

I'm not sure I would want to play this game with other people in the bathroom. ;)

I play all kinds of games while on the toilet. My favorite is 'Sink The Boat'

Are they telling us that we should gather our friends in the bathroom and play this game? The title of the game is some joke right?

txkimmers says:

This article is so aggressively neutral about the word "toilet" being in the game's name, it's almost like something got autocorrected right before the piece was posted and nobody noticed.  Escept there it is in all the graphics.  And yet the most powerful inquiry goes unanswered: "whatsit gotta do wit toilets?"

Toilet People...

A game in which you are people from a toilet?  People trying to escape from a toilet?  Escape to a toilet?  Inquiring minds want to know!
