Trapster updated to version 1.2, goes International

Trapster is a Windows Phone app designed to help you avoid speed traps, avoid traffic jams, and generally have a safer time on the road. The app was recently updated to version 1.2 to bring a handful of performance improvements as well as a new map and more language support.
For those not familiar Trapster is a social network app where users post alerts to speed traps, red light and speed cameras as well as accidents and other roadway hazards. These dangers are mapped out to allow you to worry less about getting a ticket and better concentrate on driving.

With the update, Trapster now supports French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and Russian. The new mapping feature is referred to as Intelligent Alerting that uses logic that only alerts you to speed traps along your path of travel.
Additional features with the update include the customary performance tweaks and bug fixes. You should also see better battery performance through various optimizations.
Trapster is a free app for your Windows Phone 7.x and 8 device that you can find here in the Windows Phone Store.

I like the app, and they've done a good job with it. My biggest issue with it has been battery life. It appears to be a little better now, but still not enough.

This. I tried using it on a 45 minute trip once, fully charged and plugged into a charger in the car. By the time I got there, the battery was at 50% and the phone was hot as hell.
I love Trapster, but I can't use it with that kind of battery-killing performance. Hopefully, they've fixed in this update.

Cool app. Glad we've got it on WP. It doesn't seem that many people use it in my area, though. Still nice to have...

It also seems to reload after switching applications a lot better
