Youmail and gotvoice just joined together. Nice thing about gotvoice was their free service did just what I wanted. However now that they are joining with youmail I have to pay to do the same thing because Sprint sucks and charges $.20 a minute for forwarding voicemail. Gotvoice would just login and grab them.
I hear you! I was trying various services to get around Sprint limitations. Here is my current setup. I got a phone number from anveo.com as my primary phone line. I configured that number to forwards calls to my Sprint phone. (very important, NOT Sprint to Anveo) The nice part is that Anveo voicemail takes over if I do not answer the call on my cell. Anveo charges $0.15 per message flat for voicemail to text and phone number is $0.99 per month.
This really bugs me again, because if you have a reception area or the EDGE network and has a mailbox along, so the visual part of the goodbye kiss on the answering machine. Not to mention the time spent accessing and navigating through the answering machine.

Youmail is great on my phone. Only one text per voicemail, so I don't understand Nick how you are getting four?
