Weather Hound ends the year with another update, adds wide tile support

Weather Hound

Weather Hound is a simple Windows Phone 8 weather app that provides you with the basics on the current weather conditions, an hourly forecast and a seven-day, extended forecast.  You can track the weather based on your current location or set a fixed location in the app’s settings.

Weather Hound was updated today to version 1.2.1 that adds doublewide tile support.  The wider Live Tile displays your current conditions along with a three day, extended forecast.

If you are looking for a minimalistic approach to keeping track of the weather from your Windows Phone, give Weather Hound try.  It may not have all the bells and whistles of other Windows Phone weather apps but it does a good job of covering the basics.

There is a trial version available for Weather Hound with the full version running $.99.  It is available for Windows Phone 8 and you can find Weather Hound here in the Windows Phone Store.

Happy new year everyone!
The program is very good and perfect in forecast ❗

Looks ok, needs Celsius equivalent though for the modern society.

Of course it has Celsius! Just goto settings and select your display units :)

Cheers. Missed the cog in the 3 dots.. Was looking at the text menu!

wp8b says:

Yes there is. Click the '...' on the main app. That is the standard windows phone way of hiding the menu. That will expand it, then click the cog that says settings next to it.

Yup. Edited my comment. Thanks again.
