Windows Phone 8 SDK to be made available tomorrow at BUILD

Microsoft today announced availability of the Windows Phone 8 SDK. BUILD 2012 will be held tomorrow, and according to Joe Belfiore the event will mark the launch of the kit developers can use to build new apps for the next version of Windows Phone.
We previously looked at BUILD 2012 opening up registration for attendees, which sold out in no time at all. Developers have been crying out for the latest SDK to get started on projects and ensuring work is ready for Windows Phone 8, and now Microsoft has answered.
More details to come tomorrow.

Glad to hear it! I've recently become a registered dev. I didn't want to install the current SDK since it uses Visual Studio 2010. New SDK uses 2012

The SDK for Windows 8 apps has been out for a while now... This SDK is for the phone. Hence the name "Windows Phone 8 SDK"
