Windows Phone Central's E3 2012 Weekend Trailer Roundup
E3 2012 – the Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks off with Microsoft’s press conference this Monday, June 4. We’ve already outlined our predictions and plans for the event, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing new to share right now. A number of developers have released trailers of the console games they’re showcasing at E3 ahead of time.
First up is Skulls of the Shogun from Haunted Temple Games and Microsoft Studios. Skulls is a beautiful and fast-paced strategy game that’s scheduled to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade, Windows 8, and Windows Phone as an Xbox Live title. We’ll be playing it at E3, so look forward to our impressions!
Head past the break for a big batch of E3 Xbox 360 game trailers!
Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 from Mercury Stream and Konami:
We’ll definitely be checking out Konami’s booth next week. As our Castlevania Puzzle review reveals, I’m a huge Castlevania fan.
Hitman Absolution from Square Enix:
Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 from City Interactive:
I don’t see this one topping Sniper Elite V2, which I recently reviewed for Co-Optimus. But its modern-day, faster-paced approach could be fun too.
Tomb Raider Crossroads from Square Enix:
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance from Platinum Games and Konami:
Woefully silly subtitle aside, we’re definitely looking forward to trying this one out.
Of Orcs and Men from Spiders (developer) and Cyanide:
Quantum Conundrum from Airtight Games and Square Enix:
Looks a bit like Portal crossed with a slightly uglier Totoro, doesn't it?
Doom 3 BFG Edition from id Software and Bethesda:
Here’s a FPS remake I’m very excited about. Now if id would just port their iOS Doom games to Windows Phone…
Skyrim ‘Dawnguard’ from Bethesda:
Our own George Ponder and legions of RPG fans are sure to enjoy this upcoming DLC expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Once again, Windows Phone Central’s E3 2012 coverage will start on Monday, June 4th and run throughout the week. Stop by often and/or follow the e3 2012 tag for all of this year’s stories.
