Windows Phone Game Review: Logorama

Logorama for Windows Phone

Think you know trademarks and logos? If so, then try your hand at the Windows Phone game Logorama. It may be a humbling experience to some.

Logorama is a collection of over 100 logos from fast food chains, websites, retail stores, clothing manufacturers, and other businesses from around the world. The logos are spread out across eight levels that are progressively unlocked as you correctly identify logos.

To make things challenging, some of the logo is concealed. If you run across a logo that you need a little help with, there's a tip button at the bottom of the screen. If you get stumped, you can always move on the next logo with the arrow buttons.

Logorama screens

Logorama is a nice little trivia game for your Windows Phone. It's simple, challenging and a fun way to pass short bits of time with.  The only downside to the game is that if you are revisiting a section to identify the remaining logos, you have to scroll through all the logos you have already identified. It would be nice to have some indication that you've already identified that logo so you can move on to the ones you haven't . It's not a major downside, just one that makes game play a little tedious.

Logorama is currently only available for the U.S. Marketplace but should be available worldwide shortly. To celebrate the app's launch Logorama is currently a free app.  However, in a few days the game will cost $.99 with a free trail being available in a few weeks.

You can find Logorama here at the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Surprisingly I was able to download it in India,George sir.

I was also able to download it in Australia

Downloaded it from Singapore too so I guess it's available worldwide now.

Exact copy of iOS game LogoQuiz. Idk how they don't infringe copyright either.

ZX9 says:

Fun game, though.

YetiBoney says:

Well these are all trademarks, not copyrighted material. Their use in a game like this qualifies as fair use of the trademarks, as the creator of the game is not trying to appropriate the trademarked material, but is simply just matching the trademarked material to the brand that owns it.

YEEEEE! I love this game.

Coincidence, was playing logoquiz on iOS with a buddy of mine yesterday and now it's available on my lumia! That's awesome, thanks for letting us know!

Is it Logorama or Logoarama?

Things like this tick me off. If the developer doesn't even know what his product is, then what is the user supposed to think?

greg2k says:

Annoying how arbitrary some of the logo names are and that the game doesn't allow fuzzy name matching: some logo names required a bunch of tries because using an apostrophe where the developer omitted it would lead to confusion.

ctleng76 says:

This is a fun game, although there are a couple logo's so far that won't accept correct answers.

I just had this issue today with Charmin.  Finally, I tried "Charming" (which is not the brand, obviously) and it worked.  I wish I could find a way to get answers for the Bonus section.  I'm not familiar with most of these apps and some of the hints have me interested in trying them out.
