Windows Phone Marketplace outage in regions?
We've received a number of reports that the Windows Phone Marketplace has been causing some issues at some point today, with the infamous "c101b001" error code when attempting to purchase (or download) an app. So far we're aware of trouble for the UK, U.S., Ireland, Netherlands and Italy.
The UK now has access again, so hopefully this is just a maintenance outage. Let us know in the comments should you be encountering problems, and which region you're accessing from. Some users have taken the issue to Microsoft Answers to seek assistance and populate a list of affected markets.

C101b001 started for me two days ago.
I can maybe download something 1% of the time. Every other time, purchases, updates, downloads all fail with C101b001.
"Something went wrong" also happens in the Windows Phone marketplace on the web.
A similar error (different error code) is happening if I try to download apps through the Zune software.
I just can't get anything from the marketplace lately.

Yes. Even reset the phone to factory defaults and changed the password on ym Live ID and reinstalled the Zune software.
Since it affects the marktplace no matter how or where I access it it appears to be a problem with the LiveID. I have been on every LiveID management page I could find and I can't find anything wrong that I can fix.

In Ireland. Getting that error last two days and all last weekend. Real pain. Google (or Bing) the error code. Not uncommon.

Whether on WiFi or 3G.....stuggling on downloads since Tue/Wed...... Grrr......
Rest of the web apps/games fine.....so something on the MS side ??

I downloaded the trial of Text Twist 2 a few days ago, and then tried to buy the full version a few times over multiple days. I kept getting the error, and then finally was able to buy it on the web.

Same problem in Italy, TIM, for a friend of mine.It is a liveid problem for sure, as on the same WiFi I had no download problem at all, and he did everything except downloading apps.

I had a error code a couple of days again when accessing the marketplace, both the app and web versions. I just kept trying and it finally worked. No problem since. In Ottawa Canada, LG Quantum on Bell (the only major carrier without a lumia announcement by the way).
