Zune Pass now available in Australia

It was announced just a few weeks ago that Zune Pass was finally coming to Australia. Then we got wind of a few more details from WPDownUnder what exactly it would and wouldn't have to offer (e.g. no podcast support, lame).

The date to launch was November 16th, that day is upon us and according to Chris Walsh, it's now available.

So, to our Aussie friends--you down with the Zune Pass?

Waiting to trial the 14 day free trial and then I'll decide, but my main questions are how will this affect our phones? Will we now see the Music search icon in Bing search because currently we don't. And in Zune will we see the section to buy music because currently it just says "Connect to your computer to synchronize content". Also we can't search for music in Marketplace. e.g. press buy in Soundhound and it doesn't find it. We can only search Apps & Games. Will these options just show up or do you think there will be an update for these features? Or will we just restart our phones tomorrow and hey presto we've caught up with the US and the UK? Hopefully we'll have answers to these questions tomorrow on the 16th, but unless these features come to our phones then I doubt I'll be signing up.

I can answer all those questions for you.IT HASN'T TECHNICALLY LAUNCHED YET - It Will In About 7-12 Hours Though, That's Why Everything Is Still Missing Currently :)Yes - the Music Search icon should re-enabled in Bing on the Phone. Microsoft does officially list that as a feature that we have in Australia, they just have kept it off until the Zune Music Marketplace (which it is dependant on) launches, so they should reenable with very very soon.Music will appear as an item in the Marketplace when it launches and you'll be able to do proper searches of music. The Best Part, when you launch Bing Search & the Marketplace after restarting your phone, it checks with the servers to find out what features are enabled in the region matching your Live ID, so tomorrow morning, you should be able to turn on your phone and it will just work (you might need to enter and exit Bing & The Marketplace a few times, but they should appear, no updates required) :)The Music Pivot should also appear in the Zune PC Software tomorrow and on the Zune.net website (and also on Xbox.com too)

Actually my question was WILL they appear on the 16th , not why haven't they appeared as yet. And I've reset my phone, opened market place/bing and Zune a few times but these options haven't showed up and it's now technically launched. Hopefully something will happen through out the day.

Purchased a 1 month subscription thisafternoon. Can’t listen to music in the Zune Pc software as of yet but can listen to music online on the Zune website. Hopefully tomorrow this will update.

Signed up for a free trial, can't do anything on my Windows Phone yet, really hope they manage to add the music marketplace to my phone without needing to update the actual software, because as of now, I don't even have the music marketplace on my phone AT ALL.
